Cygna DDI applications are built top-down from the IPAM layer to the DHCP/DNS layer. IP address management enables the unique allocation of an organization’s IP address space to various sites, data centers, cloud VPCs, and IoT meshes. Each such allocation may have its own set of DHCP and DNS servers which must be configured accordingly. An address pool on a DHCP server must map to the address plan, as must DNS naming-to-addressing. Cygna DDI applications enable intuitive top-down IPAM to easily correlate and manage distributed DHCP and DNS services on-prem, in the cloud, or as cloud services.
Protective DNS
Protective DNS adds a vital DNS security layer to your defense-in-depth cybersecurity strategy. Cygna DDI solutions not only provide visibility and notification of potential DNS threat events but offer protective measures to mitigate malware DNS queries including DGAs, sensitive data exfiltration via DNS tunneling, denial of service attacks aimed at or amplifying DNS, snooping of DNS transactions, cache poisoning, operating system attacks and more. Cygna Protective DNS addresses the CIA triad at the DNS layer with DNS encryption, DNSSEC, DNS firewalling, multiple resiliency features, and in-line protections and visibility.
AI-driven automation with control
Cygna DDI applications support full REST APIs to facilitate inter-system integrations to automate DDI functions within broader IT workflows. Cygna Automation Appliances leverage our APIs enabling you to further extend DDI automation to include cloud systems and to integrate with leading orchestration systems including ServiceNow, Terraform, Cisco Catalyst Center, Ansible, and more. Our AI automations are configurable to enable human approval within the flow or to flow through for full unattended automation.
