CYGNA DDI AUTOMATION
Integrate DDI automation within IT workflows for premises and cloud deployments with Cygna Automation Appliances
If you use ServiceNow, Terraform, Ansible, Cisco Catalyst Center, or other automation systems, the Cygna Automation Appliances provide modular integration for DDI automation within your broader IT workflows. Activity packs, plug-ins, and native API endpoints are provided to call the Cygna Automation Appliance to initiate DDI-related workflows. Integrations are also supported natively for AWS, Azure, GCP, and Meraki cloud APIs as well as Cygna DDI applications for simple workflow creation.
Cygna Automation Appliances feature a drag-and-drop workflow palette with pre-defined DDI nodes for subnet, IP address, DHCP and DNS configuration and management. Nearly one hundred canned workflows are provided for use as-is or with simple editing via the graphical interface. Flows can be grouped as subflows and plugged into broader flows to simplify flow creation and management and to streamline maintenance with one change instead of one per flow.
Cygna Automation Appliances support modular workflows to enable interchangeable workflows. Use canned REST endpoints or create your own to integrate with ServiceNow, for example, to obtain an IP address and DNS name from Cygna IPControl and update AWS. Another flow can integrate with Terraform to request a subnet from Cygna VitalQIP and update your Azure Vnet configuration. The possibilities are limitless!
Each workflow defined with the Cygna Automation appliance is rendered in flowchart form. This makes workflow creation very simple and intuitive. And if you need to present workflows to management, nothing could be easier to understand, which can make you look like a genius. Double click into a given node to specify parameters in and out as needed, or to specify functions to manipulate data along the way. Flows can be exported in universal JSON format as well.
Cygna Automation appliances are available as a Cygna Sapphire 10D or 20 model hardware appliance or in a virtualized form for VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, Xen, AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. The Cygna Automation Appliance need not be deployed in the same form as the Cygna DDI applications or other integration systems offering you maximum flexibility.
