Centralized DDI appliance inventory

Cygna Appliance Manager provides a holistic view of Cygna DDI appliances deployed throughout your network for both VitalQIP and Sapphire appliances. No need to SSH into each appliance to gather inventory and versioning information. Cygna Appliance Manager tracks software package versions for DHCP, DNS, and related appliance daemons from a single pane of glass. This inventory information is critical for tracking different versions of various appliance packages deployed across your network.

Simpler appliance administration

The Cygna Appliance Manager provides a single user interface for managing appliance configurations, daemon packages, and associated configuration files and user exits. Inventory and status tracking through dashboards and simple package deployments and upgrades streamline appliance administration. System controls also protect against inter-package incompatibilities.

One-click upgrades

Cygna Appliance Manager supports simple upgrades for individual or groups of Cygna DDI appliances. Simply load a software upgrade package published on our support site and assign the package to one or more appliances or appliance groups. Click deploy to transfer the upgrade to each appliance and perform the upgrade. Full status and results enable confirmation of successful upgrade deployment.

Multi-administrator controls

Cygna Appliance Manager enables you to define multiple administrators to access the system. Administrators can be grouped and different access rights can be associated with different administrators or groups. Direct or SAML authentication based logins are supported. Administrator activity is logged and activity reports enables easy access to auditing and troubleshooting information.

Automation integration

The Cygna Appliance Manager REST API enables external systems to access appliance and package information via the API. This programmatic interface facilitates integration with enterprise configuration management systems or other IT systems as desired. Appliance status as well as the health of core network DHCP and DNS services is also available via the API. Software package information and deployment status information is also provided from the REST API.
