CYGNA DESIRED STATE

Cygna Labs Desired State for AD and Entra ID

Agentless, automated group membership remediation for Active Directory and Entra ID

Cygna Desired State illustration

Cygna Labs offers automated remediation of changes in Active Directory and Entra ID (for example group membership changes). This functionality was originally designed for organizations looking to expand the functionality of the Cygna Labs Domain Protection Policies in Active Directory.  However, this functionality is ideal for organizations who are unable to leverage the Domain Protection Policies, either due to performing agentless collections for Active Directory or for those looking to extend this functionality into Entra ID.

The Desired State configuration feature constantly monitors specific groups within AD and Entra ID and issues an alert when those groups are modified. More importantly, you can configure automated remediation of those groups when a membership change is detected. This feature automatically reverses those changes in order to lower your security exposure and reduce your overall risk.
